Ghostbed’s 8.0″ is just slightly below that. On average, we see a bounce height of 9.50″. Ghostbed’s bounce level is fairly typical compared to all mattresses we’ve tested to date. These results show that the Purple has over 2X the bounce of the GhostBed. The mattress with the most amount of bounce is the Purple Hybrid at 17.63″. Of these two brands, the mattress with the least amount of bounce is the GhostBed Classic, at only 8.0″. Some sleepers will enjoy higher levels of bounce while others are looking for more subdued bounce. Talking through bounce, it’s important to mention that bounce is largely preferential.
